No, however, refer 2.1.1 and 11.4 below.

10.2 Is there a general export incentive scheme in place which offers incentives concerning the exporting of goods? Also, is there an export marketing assistance scheme in existence?

Export Credit Guarantee Scheme

In line with improving private investment is the creation of an export-orientated scheme, the Export Credit Guarantee Scheme. This scheme will provide pre-and post-shipment finance credits to small and medium-sized exporters, stimulating output in the export sector.

10.3 Are there any specific industry incentives in existence, e.g. relating to the construction industry or the manufacturing industry, etc?

· Small Scale Enterprise Loan Guarantee Scheme

This scheme, which caters for small business, is designed to help businesses overcome the obstacles they face in establishing new businesses through the availability of credit. Under this scheme loans are extended by the commercial banks while the Central Bank guarantees the loans from a Government established fund.

· The introduction of other specific industry incentives are currently being investigated.

10.4 Are there any tax incentives with regard to a foreign company setting up business in your country, e.g. the write-off of new or secondhand machinery and equipment, annual wear and tear allowance, depreciation allowance on the cost of buildings used in the manufacturing process, etc?

· Refer 2.1.1.

· There are also special tax incentives for the farming, insurance and mining industries.
